SUP Rentals in Raposeira

Come on down and enjoy renting our SUPs in Raposeira!

• Includes adjustable paddle, carry bag, air pump, SUP leash, life jacket, waterproof phone case, and roof straps.
• Deposit of passport or ID required. A deposit of 300€ per board is required (cash or PayPal).
• We only rent paddleboards to very experienced paddlers, SUP instructors, or competitive athletes upon showing evidence (send us certificates, and videos, or book a tour with us and demonstrate).
• This is mainly to do with safety and local laws. It is very easy to get blown far offshore or disoriented and lost from not knowing the coast, becoming tired, having poor/weak paddling technique, etc.
• There could be waves, sharp rocks, other boats, forbidden areas close to the beach… It all proves a huge risk for everyone. We don’t have a location on a beach from where we can supervise rentals, so we need to take extra care and safety checks before renting.
• If you are an experienced SUPer then we will give you paddling maps and safety instructions for the day’s conditions and forecast, of the best spots we are knowledgeable about: Like Ingrina-Barranco caves, Lagos-Ponta da Piedade and Benagil.
• If you’re a beginner, we advise you to first book 3 SUP tours with us (ie. lake, river, coast & caves; you’ll gain over 10h paddleboard experience), where you can gain lots of knowledge about this coastline, sheltered spots, currents, winds and waves, and tips where to go the next few days after that. And also valuable SUP techniques and competencies.
